IN A NUTSHELL
Since we launched with a range of six wallets in 2010, we’ve grown significantly and now release about 50 new products a year (give or take). Our Production team is in charge of ensuring all of these products (and those yet to come) are manufactured on time, in the right quantity and to up to standard. As our Inbound Logistics Coordinator you’ll be an integral member of this team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing relationships with freight forwarders and courier services, and ensuring timely delivery of goods from suppliers to our warehouses and to our corporate customers.
You will be resolving logistical issues and delays promptly in addition to monitoring lead times and logistics costs. Bring your desire to learn, organisation and excellent communication skills. YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE….
- 1-3 years of experience in international logistics, preferably from freight forwarding or retail industries
- Familiarity with transportation management and an understanding of various shipping methods (Sea, Air)
- Experience coordinating shipments and working with freight forwarders and courier services
- A good understanding of INCOTERMS
- Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures and associated documentation
- An understanding of freight booking processes and transit lead times of international shipping routes
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
- Problem-solving skills to address logistical challenges and delays
- Comfortability using ERP software and proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting

- Generated and communicated shipment plans, coordinating with suppliers to meet deadlines and track deliveries
- Addressed and resolved shipment delays by working with carriers to expedite deliveries
- Created reports on key logistics metrics like lead times, shipping costs, and delivery performance
- Collaborated with your manager to negotiate better freight rates and developed shipment optimisation strategies
- Organised sample shipments for Quality Control and updated the ETA of shipments in the ERP system, keeping internal teams informed
- Handled inquiries from sales and operations teams, provided instructions to our remote support team for inbound processing, and approved logistics invoice
- Identified opportunities for process improvements and implemented changes to enhance logistics efficiency.
