As an Internal Communications Manager you will be responsible for playing a key role in developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies to effectively engage and inform employees, executives, and stakeholders. This role will be responsible for crafting clear, consistent, and compelling messages across multiple channels and ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and values.
You will do the following across 5 disciplines:
Internal Communications:
- Develop and implement a strategic internal communications plan to enhance employee engagement, morale, and alignment with company goals.
- Create content for various internal communication channels, including email newsletters, intranet articles, announcements, and town hall presentations.
- Establish communication frameworks and mechanisms to facilitate effective information sharing, feedback loops, and two-way communication between leadership and employees.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR to ensure consistent messaging and communication across all levels of the organization.
Executive Communications:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop messaging and content for executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and organizational announcements.
- Provide strategic counsel to executives on communication strategies, messaging, and delivery techniques.
- Support executive visibility initiatives through thought leadership articles, media interviews, and speaking engagements at industry events.
Marketing Support:
- Assist the marketing team with planning and executing events, including conferences, tradeshows, product launches, and employee engagement activities as needed. This may include events like Client Forum, Leadership Group Meetings, company “Glue” Events, and other events as assigned.
- Coordinate internal communications to promote upcoming events, drive attendance, and generate excitement among employees.
- Collaborate with marketing team to ensure alignment of messaging and branding across internal and external communication channels.
Content Development:
- Write edit, and proofread a variety of communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, social media content, and marketing collateral with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Develop engaging and informative content that effectively communicates key messages to target audiences while maintaining brand voice and tone.
Measurement and Analysis:
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of communications initiatives and campaigns using key performance indicators and metrics.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience in related field.
- 7 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or related roles.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies, cross-company communication plans, and campaigns.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for different audiences and channels.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Experience working with executives and providing strategic communications counsel preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other communications tools and platforms. Experience using Confluence as a company communications platform is strongly preferred.
- Some knowledge of event planning and execution best practices is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Pay Range: $97,000 – $135,800
