The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic Microsoft Windows network environment, showcasing exemplary time management, communication skills, and a passion for Information Technology.
What you’ll do
- Provide end-user support for Windows devices.
- Install, remove, update, support, and troubleshoot desktop and network hardware, operating systems, and software issues.
- Administer Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure accounts and services.
- Perform basic network administration tasks, including the management of servers, routers, Wi-Fi hardware, and firewalls.
- Monitor security and event logs, investigate incidents, and escalate to the security team as necessary.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery operations.
- Create and maintain procedures and documentation for internal use.
- Support operating system and hardware upgrades, network expansion, and the deployment of end-user applications.
- Manage hardware and software inventory.
- Provide IT help desk support.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in IT or Information Security fields.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extensive experience with Windows client operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies, particularly in a Windows environment.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and wireless communication protocols.
- Familiarity with PC hardware and the ability to troubleshoot basic hardware problems.
- Experience setting up routers, switches, and other wired and wireless network hardware.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services administration.
- Experience with help desk ticketing software.
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate management, and Common Access Cards (CACs).
- Experience with MS SQL Server.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V / VMware).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker / Kubernetes).
- Microsoft Technical Certification.
- Security+ Certification.
