Main Responsibilities: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the team.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our hotel operations, including front office, engineering, housekeeping, and security. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to manage the daily operations and drive our hotel to new heights.

Responsibilities:


Staff Management:


  • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team across various departments, including front office, engineering, housekeeping, and security
  • Develop and implement staff schedules and rosters
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster professional development opportunities for team members
  • Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and service quality

Operations Management:


  • Oversee the daily operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction

Financial Management:


  • Develop strategies to maximize revenues and optimize operational expenditure
  • Monitor and manage budgets and financial performance
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to inform strategic decision-making
  • Implement cost-control measures and financial best practices

Customer Service:


  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner

Vendor Management:


  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

  • Strong technical knowledge of hotel operations and industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial management, and revenue optimization
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
