It's a win-win for everyone involved!Position Overview: As a Social Media, Marketing, and Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the experience of small business owners and investors on our platform.
You'll work closely with our Customer Experience team to ensure smooth operations, provide marketing support, and create & manage social media marketing campaigns.Role Responsibilities:
- Marketing Campaign Management: Own creating and managing social media marketing campaigns to inform new audiences about Honeycomb and our mission, driving investments and increasing brand awareness.
- KPI Support: Provide support to the Customer Experience team to help meet key performance metrics set business owners up for success.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating and maintaining investment offering pages and developing comprehensive marketing plans for small business owners.
- Data Analytics: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement, helping to optimize marketing strategies and drive investment success.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales, marketing, compliance, and operations teams to ensure timely and successful campaign launches.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Is passionate about small businesses and creating economic opportunity
- Proven ability to create captivating Instagram content and execute successful marketing campaigns
- Skilled in developing visually appealing posts and stories, leveraging hashtags, and optimizing engagement strategies.
- Process-oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
- Is organized and can demonstrate experience meeting multiple deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Is extremely detail-oriented (we are in the financial industry after all!)
- Has familiarity with marketing software or advertising platforms i.e. Hubspot and Facebook Business

Educational Background:
- All majors are welcome to apply, Seniors or Juniors in College preferred
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have:
- Previous experience in social media marketing, email marketing, or content creation
- Graphic design experience is a plus, particularly with Canva
- Worked in a high-growth startup environment before
- Demonstrated a track record of hitting goals and growing professionally
- Experience in lending, crowdfunding, or fundraising
- Worked in an independently-owned small business!
- Are located in Pittsburgh
