This is a rare opportunity to join the Grand Central Bakery accounting team. We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our small team to support AP/AR tasks.
Please include a cover letter with your application. The Accounting Associate provides accounting support for sales, production, and delivery of delicious product to wholesale and retail customers. This customer service-driven team member inspires excellence in customer service for every point of contact by interacting internally across the organization and serving as a representative of the brand to external vendors and customers. This role strives for maximum efficiency and effectiveness in processes and accurate completion of tasks which enables timely distribution of monthly reports and financial statements to management.Location: This is an on-site position located at 21 S.
Nevada St., Seattle, WA 98134.
Rate of pay:
This position pays $27.00/hour
Schedule:
Full-time, est. 35-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, days.

Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years’ experience in an accounting role required.
- Must be able to add, subtract and multiply with ease and accuracy.
- Intermediate computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word or comparable programs.
- Experience with an ERP System a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, and speak English required
- Due to this position being located in a production facility, employees are required to maintain a food handler’s card. New hires are expected to have a valid card by their first date of work.
- Must demonstrate regular attendance by coming to work on scheduled working days and being on time.
This position works in a building shared with production facilities is constantly exposed to wheat flour dust and other grain dusts (rye, corn, oat)
