Roto Repair TechnicianDirect Hire


Pay:

 DOE

Shift:

M-F 5:00am-1:30pm and assigned weekends.
Overtime shifts include 10- and 12-hour shifts, working between the hours of 5:00am and 5pm.

Location:

La Porte, TX 77571
The right candidate for this position should be able to:

  • Be onsite at the facility prior to the normal shift start (At least 15 minutes).
  • Beady ready to work at assigned start times.
  • Overtime is not guaranteed and is based on the current needs of the business.
  • Ability to rotate onto swing shift (5pm-5am), based on current needs of the business
  • Accommodate special customer needs and schedules

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • US Citizen or Legal Resident
  • Proficient in Reading / Writing English
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Physical Requirements per Engineering / Operations - Hourly JSA
  • Preferred skills include:
  • Rotor Balancing Experience
  • Rotor Machining Experience
  • Rotor Repair Experience
  • Onsite / Millwright Experience
  • Must pass background and drug screen.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Maintain and execute work schedules per supervisor instructions.
  • Accountable for work accuracy / correctness.
  • Rigging and lifting of large components / rotors.
  • Loading / Unloading trucks.
  • Operating overhead cranes.
  • Operating equipment / forklifts.
  • Visual inspections and reporting.
  • Precision measurements.
  • Perform Rotor Repairs, including:
  • Drilling
  • Tapping
  • Blending
  • Machining
  • Welding
  • Disassembly and reassembly of rotors and components.
  • Rotor Balancing
  • Machine, equipment, and tooling maintenance
  • Procure and maintain personal tools
  • Off-Site assignments, as assigned
  • Other special tasks as assigned by management.
