W2 or 1099 Position!
The Paralegal will support the Proposals and Contracts team by managing legal and contractual documentation, assisting with the preparation of proposals, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise various types of contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Assist in the negotiation of contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract management system to track contract statuses, renewals, and expirations.
- Assist in the preparation and review of proposal documents, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Maintain proposal templates and ensure consistency across documents.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations affecting contracts and proposals.
- Ensure all contracts and proposals comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legal requirements.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files of all legal and contractual documents.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments, such as Legal, Sales, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment and compliance in contract and proposal processes.
- Communicate effectively with external clients and vendors to address contractual issues and concerns.
Education/Work Experience
- Associate's degree or paralegal certification required; Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on contracts and proposals.
- Previous experience in the Life Sciences/MedTech Industry, preferred.
- Previous experience with Clinical Trial contracts and proposals, highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
