As an Applications Administrator you will be responsible for managing and enhancing enterprise-level software applications utilized within MCG Health such as Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, and Apex. The Applications Administrator is accountable for encompassing the administration of various software tools, software deployment, application monitoring, dashboard creation, and ongoing operation and maintenance of these applications to ensure they function optimally and meet the needs of the business whilecollaborating with SEAD, Technical Support Services, Business Systems, Product Management, and User Content/User Assistance.
You will:
- Proactively monitor applications to assess and detect potential issues, suggest creative ways of resolving issues, and advise on solutions that avert or minimize customer impact and guarantee smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
- Devise solutions based on limited information and precedent, and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues using analytical problem-solving skills, evaluation, and interpretation to select the right course of
- Craft Jira automations using Groovy scripting to automate and streamline repetitive tasks, augmenting efficiency.
- Evaluate, deploy, and offer ongoing support for software specifically designed for student-facing and Business Intelligence systems.
- Perform a myriad of administrative tasks within the Salesforce and Gainsight platforms, guaranteeing these systems are well-maintained and fully operational.
- Assist with the customization of Salesforce using Apex, modifying the system to meet unique business requirements.
- Execute routine onboarding and offboarding tasks, configuring access in various applications to ensure seamless transitions for employees.
- Create dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide crucial status updates and insights, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and customers to update, maintain, and improve applications, ensuring software tools are continuously improved and aligned with the needs of the business.
- Work closely with senior internal stakeholders who may not be familiar with the subject matter and may require persuasion, adapting style to different audiences, and advises others to arrive at the best solution
- Undertake application administration tasks, including custom query and report creation, end-user support, training, troubleshooting, and documenting business processes, and procedures.
- Analyze and resolve problems according to shifting priorities, timeframes, and resources, documenting resolutions to improve future problem-solving efforts.
- Provide oral and written status reports to senior staff, ensuring all stakeholders are kept updated on relevant issues
- Develop mechanisms and automation for deploying projects and configuration changes across various environments, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
- Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service, ensuring all stakeholders are satisfied with the application administration.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems,or a closely related field or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with application administration or supporting enterprise applications is required.
- Minimum 2 years’ of experience supporting Jira Cloud and/or Atlassian Confluence
- Knowledge of Jira administration and configuration, including custom workflows, automation, screen schemes, etc.
- Previous experience working with Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Linux tools and commands.
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning programs and tools, demonstrating a solid understanding and ability to leverage these systems.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

- ACP120 Jira Administration for Cloud certification
- Knowledge of Groovy and APEX.
National Pay Range: $80,200 – $112,200Seattle Pay Range: $85,000 – $119,000
