In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and improving new and existing products and systems.
This role requires a combination of creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality designs that meet customer needs and industry standards. You will report to the General Manager and collaborate closely with other departments to maintain seamless operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct peer reviews of engineering changes and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze and evaluate customer specifications to inform design decisions.
- Develop systems that fulfill customer requirements, balancing functionality, cost, and feasibility.
- Perform design calculations and analyses to validate engineering concepts.
- Set up and conduct factory acceptance testing to verify product performance and quality.
- Research and select components for future applications, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
- Evaluate test data from new components to determine their suitability for integration into existing systems.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in 3D modeling software (preferably SolidWorks), AutoCAD (or similar software like DraftSight), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience in creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Experience with prototyping and testing methods.
