Role Overview:
We are on the hunt for a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to join our expanding consulting team. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic leader who excels in managing complex engineering projects, driving internal initiatives, leading pre-sales engagements, and setting project delivery methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the delivery of high-stakes internal and client-facing engineering
- Pre-Sales Expertise: Leveraging our in-house technical experts, take the lead on pre-sales efforts to understand client needs, draft high-level requirements, and formulate detailed project scopes, timelines, and delivery strategies.
- Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans that align customer requirements with company objectives, coordinating efforts across managers and technical teams throughout all project phases.
- Project Execution: Meticulously track project progress and deliver executive-ready reports on key metrics such as milestones and deliverables.
- Methodology Development: Establish and refine project delivery methodologies and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering projects.
Must have qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience leading all phases of complex technical projects for external clients
- Expertise in agile and waterfall project management methodologies, with a track record of implementing best practices
- Demonstrated experience in leading scoping and requirements gathering sessions and crafting comprehensive statements of work and proposals.
- Exceptional skills in authoring and communicating status updates and risk assessments across multiple projects or workstreams.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, including a strong command of written and spoken English
Nice to have qualifications:
- Previous software development experience
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, CPO, ITIL, etc.
- Experience in a business analyst role or similar capacity
