Airband are recruiting a Resource Planner to support the team in scheduling work for our Engineers.
This is a Perm position offering a Salary of £24,500 + benefits
Airband operate 2 offices, Droitwich, Worcestershire & Tiverton, Devon. [We are open to Applications form candidates located in either of the above locations and within reasonable commuting distance – this is a Hybrid role but requires 2 to 3 days based in the office]
More about the position:
As Resource Planner you will be reporting to our Co-Ordination Team Manager. Working within the Customer Connections Team this role will also be liaising directly with Engineering, Support and Customer Services. The purpose of the role is to ensure all engineers have a full schedule of work each day and are being fully utilised for maximum productivity delivery of an effective schedule which enhances productivity and efficiency.

What will the role look like?
• Develop processes, tools and KPIs to control and optimise resource scheduling, including order processing and routing the engineers.• To ensure the customer contact strategy is followed, ensuring a great customer experience.• In day jeopardy ensuring any issues on the day are managed, where possible ensuring the job goes ahead, including the customer contact.• To ensure that all jobs are attended and completed within the required response time.• To ensure all follow-up jobs not marked by the engineers as being completed after attendance are reallocated as required.• Work with Sales and Engineers to ensure the customers that are in the journey waiting for action, can be processed and scheduled.• Work with departments to understand demands and resources including working with project planning teams to input to their projects.
• Contact engineers to discuss tasks and where necessary re-prioritise workloads Use software to plan schedules and book in tasks.• Ensure workload is balanced between engineers.• Produce reports as needed by the Company.• Design and improve scheduling processes.
