The Role
As a Senior Engineer on the Developer Platform team, you will be responsible for building scalable CI/CD pipelines, as well as maintaining ZenBusiness’ data and cloud infrastructure in GCP. Your expertise and passions will be critical in streamlining deployment processes, improving developer experience, and cultivating continuous improvement within the organization.This is a fully remote position, based within US time zones.
Responsibilities
- Administer GCP infrastructure for high availability and cost-efficiency
- Administer Postgres databases
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions and ArgoCD
- Support engineering teams while building a culture of learning and knowledge sharing
- Build developer tools that enable governance, introduce common capabilities, and simplify the software development lifecycle
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in containerized environments with tools like Kubernetes or Docker
- Expertise in source control and familiarity with features available from relevant companies like GitHub or GitLab
- Familiarity with cloud providers such as GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Pulumi
- Familiarity with workflow engines such as Jenkins, Airflow, GitHub Actions, or Travis
- Experience in a backend language such as Java, Python, or Golang
- Experience navigating Unix-style systems
Bonus Qualifications
- macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus!
- Javascript experience
