Dynamo Technologies is hiring a Logistics Manager - Air Force Technical Order (AFTO) Systems who will be primarily responsible for supporting HQ AFMC at WPAFB, OH. 

Duties/ Responsibilities 


The specialized Knowledge, Experience, Tasks or Qualifications Required include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with management of the AFTO system, processes and policy;
  • Monitor and assess the health of AFTO system, proactively identify issues, perform in-depth analysis, recommend solutions, and support the implementation of recommendations;
  • Provide planning, coordination, and execution support for AFTO System supporting activities, process improvement efforts, and working groups; Support efforts to determine and document IT capability requirements for the integration of AFTO systems within the logistics IT systems portfolio;
  • Support IT system initiatives and improvements for, but not limited to, Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS), Technical Order Authoring and Publishing (TOAP), and related technical data systems;
  • Provide support for acquisition, sustainment, production, and delivery of current and complete AFTO information to the user;
  • Perform enterprise level what-if analysis, metric development and collection, and status reporting;
  • Support technical manual specifications and standards reviews, recommend improvements, and conduct implementation and integration activities;
  • Assists with management, execution, and oversight of the Comprehensive AF TO Plan (CAFTOP) process;
  • Review and publish annual CAFTOP guidance and TO Information Sheet (TOIS) template for use in determining TO life cycle sustainment requirements;
  • Assist with review and adjudication for approval by Government POC of TO sustainment requirements where AFMC is Lead Command;
  • Conduct reviews of previous CAFTOP cycle, identify improvements to the process, address any issues, and update guidance, variance statements and narrative templates as needed;
  • Develop and provide annual CAFTOP training to AFMC TO programs;
  • Review AFMC program CAFTOP narratives and TOIS, and;
  • Conduct analysis of TO requirements and costs, translate into informational documents and make recommendations for improvements in cost effective sustainment, accuracy of financial projections, and utilization of resources.

Required Skills/Abilities


  • Experienced with Air Force Technical Order (AFTO) policy and procedures or similar system from other military branch
  • Knowledgeable of technical order IT systems, business processes and publication requirements, and technical data specifications and standards
  • Familiarity with Implementation of S1000D international specification for technical publications
  • Experience with analysis, milestone planning, tracking, and scheduling
  • Metrics development and analysis
  • Risk management
  • Developing process flow and business rules
  • Managing technical documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities and tight deadlines, and maintain detailed project plans and workflows
  • Possess and demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills to build relationships with key internal stakeholders responsible for decision making
  • Excellent communications and change management, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Education and Experience:


  • Advanced Degree (MAIMS) and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/ professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements.
  • OR, BA/BS degree, and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements.
  • OR, 15 years of directly-related experience with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements (waiver may be considered).

Nice to Have Skills


  • MS Project literacy
  • Working knowledge of Government or commercial equipment product support and lifecycle management

Travel Requirement

  • Telework - The Government may permit telework by contractor employees when determined to be in the best interest of the Government

  • Secret or ability to obtain a Secret
