Coastal Federal Credit Union is seeking a Wealth Management Operations Manager to join the Coastal Wealth Management team in the Raleigh, NC area.
Position Location: Raleigh, NC. Must live locally - hybrid roleYour impact:As Coastal's Wealth Management Operations Manager, you'll have the opportunity to use your leadership and management talents to oversee the day-to-day business processing, client management systems, and compliance for the Wealth Management Department. You'll also have the opportunity to use your organizational skills and analytical talents as you compile comprehensive client data for maximum client financial security planning and sales opportunities.The contributions you can anticipate making:Leading division results and goals by:
- Analyzing current business practices and identifying areas for improvement
- Presenting proposals for your recommended changes and coordinating implementation
- Ensuring data bases are maintained accurately
- Managing appointment scheduling and processing all reports
- Developing and maintaining effective administrative support for the financial advisors
- Working closely with Marketing to ensure accurate and timely distribution of marketing materials
- Supporting seminars
- Maintaining and administering client data management systems
- Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement
Developing team by:
- Identifying each of your team member's talents and helping them do more of their best work
- Holding meaningful weekly check-ins with each team member to build relationship, trust, and provide the opportunity for coaching, feedback, and recognition
- Conducting performance reviews regularly
- Building a culture that embodies Coastal's values
- Cross-training to ensure optimal coverage
- Assisting with the optimizing staff and processes
- Ensuring your staff has the knowledge and tools needed to perform well
- Successfully recruiting additional staff as needed
- Providing exceptional member service by:
- Tracking member feedback and implementing changes accordingly
- Building a positive culture that inspires your team to do their best
- Ensuring your staff has the knowledge and tools needed to perform well
Protecting Coastal by:
- Working closely with the Wealth Management Program manager and CFS OSJ to make sure all compliance requirements are met for registered branches, advisors, and continuing education
- Ensuring marketing materials are approved by our broker dealer
- Ensuring staff is capable of providing adequate service at all times
- Maintaining accurate compliance logs
- Providing support for internal/external auditors
- Resolving audit and exam findings
- Ensuring the BCP preparedness of division

- At least one year of supervisory experience
Licenses:
- FINRA Series 7; Series 63/65 or 66
Education:
- Related bachelor's degree preferred
