Bridgeway is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment, collaborating with other engineers and analysts. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. They are responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, as well as leading automation initiatives within the QA team. Their expertise in automation tools and frameworks will help us streamline our testing processes and improve overall product quality. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in a highly productive team centric environment.
This is a remote position with preference given to East Coast candidates.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement and support a robust test automation strategy aligned with the product roadmap and quality goals.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and select appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by creating reusable and modular test scripts.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to debug and resolve issues.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain automated test environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced QA automation engineers.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare detailed reports on automation progress, test coverage, and defect metrics.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:


  • 7+ years’ professional software quality assurance experience
  • 5+ years experience in QA test automation
  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Postman, Playwright, Cypress.io, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, etc.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, Node.js or JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of REST API testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and design effective test scenarios.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and accurate documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience developing in a large-scale or multi-platform environment is a plus
