UZURV is a 110+ person, growing technology company based in Richmond, VA. The company operates in 14 states and is now expanding nationally. As an Adaptive Transportation Network Company, the UZURV mobility platform serves individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and others who need assistance with independent transportation.UZURV’s platform combines rideshare with specialty credentialed, drug and alcohol tested drivers to provide safe, reliable mobility and a higher level of care for the transportation disadvantaged.

A little bit about the role…
We are currently searching for an Human Resources Coordinator to support and manage the administrative activities of the central office, perform general Human Resource tasks including supervising the onboarding and orientation of new employees, and act as UZURV liaison with our PEO, Insperity. The successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential information, and possess a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.
You must have the ability to communicate well and manage multiple assignments and people simultaneously. As the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
Human Resources and Payroll Management
- Liaison with Insperity: Address and escalate employee concerns. Relay management's issues, ensuring timely responses.
- HR Policy Implementation: Distribute and explain new HR policies from Insperity.
- Process payroll using payroll software. Process payroll, verify salary and pay information, address payroll issues, and work with Insperity to resolve discrepancies.
- Verify and enter salary information accurately.
- Address employee payroll concerns.
- Work with Insperity to ensure accurate employee data.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Organize and facilitate training sessions and professional development opportunities with Insperity
- Facilitate performance reviews using Insperity PerformSmart Platform and manage feedback between employees, management, and Insperity.
- Assist with onboarding new hires and manage offboarding processes for departing employees.
- Implement and promote engagement initiatives.
Office Management and Administration
- Oversee office activities, maintenance, and supplies.
- Act as main contact for building management and handle maintenance requests
- Manage mail and shipping, equipment, including ordering, distributing and processing returns
- Obtain notary certification (upon hire).
We are excited about you because…
- You have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- You have 2+ years of office administration with HR generalist experience, executing payroll, employee on/offboarding, employee record management, and HRIS management.
- You have strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are highly organized with the ability to forecast and plan to meet customer demands.
- You can communicate effectively with various constituent groups such as senior management, peers, and outside contractors.
- You can work onsite in our Richmond office.
