ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary:
The Manual Vetter plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data operations work, supporting validation of data against ground truth sources for key report deliverables. This role requires a strong computer navigation skill, excellent problem-solving, close attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a SAFe Agile environment. The Manual Vetter will play a critical role in improving the quality and accessibility of data solutions to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in detecting and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse within government-sponsored health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify data manually from a variety of sources, identify and correct errors and inconsistencies.
- Develop and implement processes to improve data quality.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data under review.
- Combine excel files and complete quality review of verified outputs as needed.
- Coordinate with data operations team and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with product owners, customers, team members, and leaders to provide support to ad hoc requests as needed.
- Present workload statistics to leadership as requested.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide input on progress and challenges.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and deadline-driven environment.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Assess/evaluate to deliver timely data reporting, and data solutions against client requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in healthcare IT and understanding of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
- Experience and/or knowledge of CMS processes and standards.
