Position:
The Primary Instructor/Site Lead shall have at least five (5) years of experience in managing programs, training, and oversight. The Primary Instructor/Site Lead should have previously completed a successful Patriot battery command, with additional experience as a Battalion (BN) S3 or AS3. The Primary Instructor/Site Lead must be able to direct TAFT personnel and effectively interface with USG Team Chief and USG Deputy Team Chief, and fill in for the Program Manager when needed. This person filling this position is required to be in-country.
Duties Include:
- Serves as primary in-country point of contact, lead instructor, and supervisor for TAFT.
- Acts as liaison between, the Contractor, PM, instructors, students, in-country MIL TAFT, USA-SATMO, and the PAF.
- Responsible for the instruction of specific lesson(s) of the Program.
- Assures that students obtain proficiency in each module of instruction before they proceed to the next area of instruction.
- Responsible for the design, development, administration, and grading of all written and practical examinations.
- Responsible for assuring that course goals and objectives are met IAW the PWS.
- Provides instructors and students with counsel, mentoring, and assessment of their academic performance as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the US Army serving in MOS 14A or 140E – Air Defense Officer / Warrant Officer. The applicant shall have at least 5 years’ experience as a MOS 14A in a U.S. Army Patriot Battalion and will be subject matter expert in the employment and operation of the Patriot system. It is preferred the applicant will have served as one or more of the following:
- Preferred to have at least five (5) years of experience in managing programs, training, and oversight for projects of a similar size and scope.
- Previously completed a successful Patriot Battery experience, with additional operational experience in the field environment.
- Experience as one or more of the following: Patriot Tactical Control Officer or Tactical Control Assistant; Patriot Tactical Director or Tactical Director Assistant; Patriot Battery Trainer; and BN Standardizations.
- Serve as an PAF-Patriot Instructor Trainer on the employment, operation, and maintenance of the Poland Patriot system.
