UZURV is a 110+ person, growing technology company based in Richmond, VA. The company operates in 14 states and is now expanding nationally. As an Adaptive Transportation Network Company, the UZURV mobility platform serves individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and others who need assistance with independent transportation.UZURV’s platform combines rideshare with specialty credentialed, drug and alcohol tested drivers to provide safe, reliable mobility and a higher level of care for the transportation disadvantaged.

A little bit about the role…
We are currently searching for a Compliance Associate to provide direct support to the Compliance Manager in the execution of regulatory and company tasks required of transportation network companies (TNC). The incumbent will assist with ensuring the company complies with regulatory compliance obligations in multiple states and markets. The Compliance Associate will regularly prepare reports and keep up to date with the latest developments in TNC regulatory law at local, state, and national levels.
As the Compliance Associate, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in executing internal controls and procedures to identify and analyze major TNC compliance risks.
- Participate in planned and unplanned external audits as required.
- Oversee driver onboarding with regulators and prepare regulatory reports in multiple states and markets.
- Manage TNC vendor relationships and reconcile vendor invoices.
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPI) and other performance metrics related to TNC compliance.
We are excited about you because…
- You have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in any field, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- You bring one or more years of experience in regulatory compliance and research/analysis in a workplace setting.
- You are highly detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and comfortable running and interpreting reports.
- You are proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Tools, with a knack for accuracy and thoroughness.
- You have experience with regulatory agencies, law, or transit and transportation services are preferred but not required.
- You have excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and a keen sense of discretion
