Reingold is a marketing and communications consulting firm with a 30-year record of creating inventive campaigns that drive social impact. Our dedication to supporting meaningful projects has led to work in education, the military and veteran community, health care, government, the nonprofit sector, and more. Reingold is seeking a paid intern to support the lifeblood of our organization: our People & Experience team. Our interns gain hands-on experience, learn various marketable skills, and get a behind-the-scenes look at everything that makes a successful company function and thrive. Internships are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20, hourly.
The 2024 fall internship begins on September 3 and runs through December 13. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern. This Internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our Alexandria, VA location.
Duties may include:
Supporting the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and culture events. (e.g., learning and development programs, DE&I, team building activities, social events, employee appreciation and recognition, listening tours, etc.)
Developing and distributing communications to inform employees about important updates, events, and initiatives. This includes promotional materials and engaging content that supports employee engagement efforts.
Supporting the implementation of a new intranet. (e.g., organizing resources, developing content, etc.)
Collecting participant's feedback and evaluating event and program effectiveness and overall impact. - Completing one to two internship projects during the internship will provide a unique opportunity for skillset growth and professional development.
- Provide administrative support to the People & Experience team, such as recruitment, scheduling, and Data entry.

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds for event setup and breakdown.
Bonus points for:
Degree in Communications and Public Relations - Internship or similar experience in employee engagement.
