Program Description:
This is a contract to provide design and engineering services needed to implement structured network cabling installations/upgrades to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Finance and Facilities Division (FFD) Technology Deployment Unit (TDU).
Responsibilities:
- Provide an IDP in accordance with the customers’ site-specific technical requirements.
- Be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with IDP.
- Coducts audits and reviews/analyze data and documentation.
- Review content of technical documentation for quality.
- Ensure that documents delivered follow the sample IDP provided after award.
- Modify CAD architectural/electrical plans to fit the needs of the customers’ IDP.
Requirements
Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience
Required Skills:
- Active Top Secret Clearance transferrable to FBI
- 5 years of experience in physical network infrastructure design or installation
- BICSI and RCDD certification.
- Minimum of (5) years of documented experience using CAD, preferably AutoCAD.
- Minimum of five (5) years of documented design experience with Telecommunication Distribution Design.
- Experience in Microsoft Office products.
- Shall be located at the contractor facility with key personnel on a full-time basis unless directed to attend meetings at FBIHQ or travel for project management purposes by the COR.
