What You'll Do:
This position will help build the primary customer interface points for Koalafi, focusing on our back-end systems. You’ll develop in the latest technologies and help us build a robust set of APIs that are not just functional, but a joy to use. You’ll get a chance to collaborate cross functionally and interact directly with customers. You’ll work on mission-critical systems that have a direct impact on the business. We are building out a microservice-based approach to our new system, leveraging GoLang, Postgres, and Kubernetes (among other tools) within AWS.
These services will work with our existing services that are still a part of our core business and are updated regularly.If you are a strong engineer with a foundation in GoLang and have built enterprise-grade microservices, we’d love to hear from you.
Position
& Title
Position and leveling to be determined based on candidate experience and qualifications.
About You
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Systems required.
- 2+ years of experience with GoLang (preferred)
- 2+ years hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise applications
- Knowledge of GoLang is a must
- Experience in microservice architecture and API development (GraphQL or REST)
- Experience working on eCommerce projects or platforms, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of online retail environments
- Knowledge of architecting and delivering applications in AWS
- Skilled at performing research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products.
- Knowledge of scrum/agile software development process.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Comfortable working with external partners and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
