Join us as we revolutionize the funeral industry across the nation.We currently have an opening for a highly talented and energetic Strategy and Analytics Analyst for our Home Office. The Strategy and Analytics Analyst will be a proactive member of FPG’s Strategy & Analytics team and will be responsible for constructing and executing analyses that drives key strategic decision making across the organization. As the Strategy and Analytics, Analyst, you will identify information sources, gather, and interpret data, and present your findings and recommendations to seniors leaders. You will reside in a cross functional role that supports the strategic direction and operating priorities for FPG.

Overview & Responsibilities:


  • Analyze financial performance, develop operational metrics, and key performance indicators; summarizing your findings and translating them into simple and actionable oral and/or written observations 
  • Maintains ongoing working relationship and connectivity with senior operations leaders and corporate office functional leaders; shows active engagement with immediate peer team
  • Responsible for tracking, research, and running analyses of industry and competition. This may include collecting and preparing reports on predictive/prescriptive analytics, pricing, demand, industry news, etc.
  • Expert user and facilitator of ERP and dashboards, leveraging these tools to perform job functions at a high level 
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of multifunctional forecasts
  • Actively uses knowledge and skills to make recommendations for process improvements and other efficiencies
  • Supports and leads ad-hoc reporting requests and other special studies
  • Maintains compliance with all reporting obligations, policies, and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline required; Advanced Degree in related discipline or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of data, business analytics and/or strategy consulting experience
  • Experience in identifying business needs and leading strategic plans driven by qualitative and/or quantitative analysis and market insights
  • Experience utilizing data analytics to create and drive insights and influence business decisions
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in complex data analysis using data analytics tools, including but not limited to: PowerBI, Tableau, Python, SQL, SAS, R
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
