We are currently seeking multiple Programmatic Application Reviewers with 4+ years of experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive. About the Role:As a Programmatic Reviewer supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide the initial grant application reviews with expected deliverables of data entry, completed checklists, and draft communications. Reviewers shall be available to conduct reviews beginning November 4, 2024 through December 6, 2024.
Reviewers may also be asked to support beyond this expected end date. The grant program is to support efforts to achieve digital equity, promote digital inclusion activities, and spur greater adoption and use of broadband.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Use impartial, objective, unbiased expertise, knowledge, and experience to evaluate or assess a proposal for its value, quality, and likelihood of success.
- Review grants applications, assessing the adequacy of the submission based on the requirements published in the NOFO (i.e. addresses Digital Equity barriers, meets expected budget principles, etc.).
- Use an online tool/checklist, Reviewer Notebook, and user guide, and follow prescribed steps to review applications.
- Attend all required training; all training and technology enablement will be provided by the project team.
- Follow quality assurance practices to accurately complete tasks on the designated schedule.
Expected Deliverables:
- Completed weighted programmatic scores and written justifications.
- Completed notes in Reviewer Notebook format (to be used in Award Slating).
- Written progress updates.
Location:You will work remotely. Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of professional experience, preferably including experience in implementing and managing projects (e.g., developing or managing project budgets, developing or managing project plans, identifying and tracking risks, etc.).
- Direct exposure to public grants (i.e., Federal, State, local, Tribal), including, but not limited to, policy development, execution, administration, etc.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital equity and inclusion programs (e.g., programs that address economic stability, workforce development, access to quality education, access to healthcare, social and civic engagement, or access to the benefits of internet technology), preferably in a federal, non-profit, or grants-funded organization.
- US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience with the uniform administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for federal awards (2 CFR Part 200).
- Experience conducting grants application reviews and/or providing post-award grants management support.
- Functional experience using tools and systems to manage grants data and documentation.
- Understanding of best practices for addressing barriers to Digital Equity.
Conflict of Interest Requirements:Review staff will reveal any conflicts of interest (real or apparent) prior to conducting a review. Assignments will be made where there are no known conflicts of interest (real or apparent), and any conflicts of interest noted after an application review begins will result in the re-assignment of the application for review. Considerations will be given to factors such as an appearance of impairment of objectivity (e.g., due to relationships or activities with other persons or entities, a reviewer may be unable to render impartial assistance or advice to the government).
