They will focus on using the Boomi platform to build and manage integrations between different systems, applications, and data sources. The Boomi Developer should be able to effectively build and manage integrations to streamline business processes and enhance data flow between systems. To be successful as a consultant, you should demonstrate great skill in creativity and innovation, ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration Development: Design, develop, and deploy integration processes using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
- Data Mapping: Define and implement data mappings and transformations between different data formats and structures.
- API Management: Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs for application integration.
- Workflow Automation: Automate business processes and workflows by integrating various systems and services.
- Error Handling: Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure smooth integration operations.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Security: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor integration processes and perform regular maintenance and updates.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5+ Years Boomi experience
- 2+ Year consulting experience would be nice
- Boomi Platform Expertise: Proficiency in using Dell Boomi AtomSphere, including building and deploying integrations.
- Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Groovy can be helpful.
- API Development: Experience with API development and management, including RESTful and SOAP services.
- Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration patterns, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
- Database Skills: Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders and understand business requirements.
