Summary/objective
The Associate Business Consultant (aka RightStart Specialist) works directly with new franchise members in the sign and graphics industry to implement our internal program entitled “The RightStart Program.” This position will support franchise member success using RightStart tools in areas such as marketing, development, financial reporting, technology, etc. during their first three years in business.*The location of this position is flexible. We have locations in Plymouth, MI and Middle River, MD.
Essential functions

- Assist Senior RightStart Manager in overseeing RightStart Program
- Assists in the development and implementation of communication and training plans for new Franchise Members.
- Develops business relationships and integrates RightStart program activities to support successful implementation for a new franchise member .
- Interact with Franchise Members of new and resale franchise centers during their first 36 months to maximize achievement of their goals using RightStart tools.
30%
- Provide superior support by gathering and analyzing timely financial reports and scorecards, conducting research, and collaborating on ongoing projects.
- Assist with utilizing data to identify trends and opportunities and articulate to key business stakeholders.
- Communicate with Franchise Members and solicit their feedback
- Recommend improvements to project management process and coordinate tasks and activities.
- Coordinate integrated support within AFB with Marketing, Operations and Business Development to fulfill the RightStart promise.
- Identify potential roadblocks or needs and coordinate with subject matter experts to solve center problems in a timely manner.
- Conduct presentations for a wide variety of audiences on different topics.

- Coordinate the logistics of opening a center to ensure a successful launch with the franchise member. This may include serving as backup in center opening process including pre-ordering product/equipment and managing incoming deliveries.

Required education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business administration, finance or accounting.
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred education and experience
- Experience in sign and graphics industry preferred
- MIS experience preferred
- Project experience with the ability to break down a project into tasks preferred.
