Job Responsibilities:
1. System Administration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems andsoftware. Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Monitoringsystem performance and ensuring uptime and reliability.2. Network Management: Designing, implementing, and managing local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN). Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Ensuring network security and responding to security breaches.3. Technical Support: Providing helpdesk support to resolve technical issues for end-users.
Troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Assisting with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.4. Security Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems. Monitoring for and responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities. Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments.5. Data Management: Ensuring data integrity, backup, and recovery. Managing databases and data storage solutions. Implementing data privacy policies and compliance measures.6.
Project Management: Planning and executing IT projects. Managing timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders.7. Software Development and Maintenance: Developing custom software applications or scripts to meet organizational needs. Maintaining and updating existing software. Testing and deploying new software releases and updates.8. Training and Documentation: Providing training sessions for employees on new technologies and software. Creating and maintaining documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
Developing user manuals and guides.9. Vendor Management: Coordinating with third-party vendors for procurement of hardware and software.10. Strategic Planning: Assessing current IT infrastructure and identifying areas for improvement. Planning for future technology needs and scalability. Aligning IT strategy with organizational goals and objectives.11. Microsoft Tools: Expertise in Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Virtual Machines, Hypervisors.Eligibility Criteria:1.
Bachelor’s in computer science and equivalent degree2. 2-4 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer3. Possess good knowledge of LAN/WAN, Routers, Firewalls4. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills5. Good English communication skills (spoken and written)6.Must be customer focused7. Flexible to work for US and AUS Time Zones.
