Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a
Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer to unify various cyber capabilities, systems, infrastructure, and data analytics to enable comprehensive cyber processing, analysis, exploitation, and dissemination in support of a wide range of cyber operations. The successful candidate will support accreditation activities to attain Authority-to-Operate for cloud platforms and services, analyze security posture of services, secure and harden services, and monitor platforms and services for vulnerabilities and threats.
Our Cybersecurity Engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers. This position is set to be supported in a hybrid work environment out of San Antonio, TX. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, reviewing, and critiquing assessment and authorization (A&A) documentation in compliance with DoD Cybersecurity policy and agency guidance, including DoD, ICD, CNSS, and NIST special publications.
- Researching security standards/tools; reviewing or conducting system security and vulnerability assessments of cloud and on-prem environments in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Supporting development and implementation of innovative methods to achieve compliance with government and commercial cybersecurity frameworks.
- Researching and identifying best practices to harden and secure containers and Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Ensuring platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or in lieu of degree, 8+ years of equivalent industry experience
- 8+ years of experience with SIEM Tooling (Splunk, Elastic, etc.)
- 8+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management
- 8+ years of experience with RMF
- 2+ years of experience leading an Incident Response team
- 3+ years of experience with DoD ZeroTrust reference architecture, DevSecOps reference design, and Cloud CSP SRG
- Deep knowledge and experience with FedRAMP or Impact Level assessments
- Familiar with commercial cloud providers and Kubernetes platforms
- Extensive experience with NIST special publications, RMF and the various control families within
- Advanced writing skills: able to clearly articulate ideas for executive level consumption
- Advanced problem-solving skills: able to use prior experience and knowledge to address new situations; especially during interactions with clients
- Advanced analytical skills: able to use prior experience and knowledge to seamlessly incorporate new knowledge or information during client interactions
- US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Cloud Certifications (AWS preferred)
- Previous experience with newer ATO strategies such as Fast Track or Continuous ATO
- Previous experience providing training in RMF or explaining cyber security concepts to others in a training like environment
- The following certifications are desired: CISSP, CASP+, CEH, Security +, CISM
This position is located in San Antonio, TX. The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $170,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
