We sell polymers and chemicals worldwide and have 25+ offices in the world.We add value for our customers and suppliers by providing logistic, risk management, financing, and market intelligence services.Tricon has a company in Italy located in Ravenna. Italy office takes care of the distribution of polymers in Italy and implements Tricon selling strategy in the area. Tricon is actively seeking a Sustainable Products Sales Developer to enlarge our business.Responsibilities:The role requires you to accelerate sales in Italy and Europe and take complete ownership of business development from research and prospecting all the way through to negotiation of terms and supervision of transactional execution.- Interface with Tricon’s existing customers to grow recycled polymer sales- Identify new prospective customers for recycled polymers - Systematically work through all prospects to establish relationships with viable customers- Actively seek out new sales opportunities and associated market research- Understand customer objectives and match with appropriate supply and service level- Develop an opportunity pipeline for recycled polymers to feed performance targets - Interface with supporting departments and extended team members to ensure smooth execution of transactions and sustained growth.
Experience:- Experience in sales of recycled polymers- Robust network of recycled polymer customers in Italy and Europe- Bachelor’s degree with chemical engineering and chemistry focus or equivalent experience- Commercial activities and competitive mindset- Demonstrating a solid understanding of the product properties and plastic processing, including recycled polymer technical and commercial knowledge- Proactive, able to negotiate and close deals independently- Strong communication skills; excellent presentation skills- Team Player: able to collaborate and work cohesively with diverse set of colleagues- Willing to travel extensively to cover assigned territory- Multilingual, fluent in both English and Italian - Knowledge of the regulatory framework related to international trade, transport and domestic regulations applicable in Italy (desired)Work locationItalyCompensation and benefits commensurate with experienceEqual Opportunity Employer
