The Hatcher Group seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to receive shipments, maintain inventory, and process orders for client operations. The ideal candidates will prioritize efficient operations, safety, and attention to detail while managing a small team.
Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, based on previous experience - Location: Jessup, MD (on-site)
- Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing team of fulfillment specialists including day-to-day order fulfillment, inventory management, order processing, and shipping coordination.
Develop warehousing, fulfillment, and shipping SOPs to meet or exceed client delivery expectations.
Suggest modifications to SOPs for process improvement.
Lead warehouse mapping and inventory management system implementation.
Develop reporting framework for warehouse operations.
Provide staff training on safety, operations, equipment, and inventory management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
15+ years of distribution and/or warehouse fulfillment experience
Prior experience with heavy machinery or forklifts is highly desired
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to lift and move packages up to 100 lbs.
Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
Successfully pass a background check and drug test
As security clearance may be required, all applicants should be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
