Direct Hire Position and full benefits eligible after 30 days!Swiss machining is a high precision process that allows for a more complex and detailed part than what we would expect from a traditional machine shop. Precision Swiss, an Abrasive Technology company, uses this highly specialized process to manufacture parts for a wide range of products to be used in wide range of fields. An ideal candidate for this role is looking for an opportunity to learn, grow, and move forward with us. Duties and responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a IFP part washing machine.
- Remove oil, coolant, and particulates from finished products prior to final quality check.
- Assist with prep of materials prior to being used at the machines.
- Filter oil for reuse in Swiss machines.
- Clean chips by washing oil and particulates prior to scraping materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Stand for 4+ hours a day.
- Willingness to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies.
