Visit www.one.ai/careers for more information.Job SummaryThe Master Electrician will prioritize Safety and support production Operations to ensure equipment is maintained in a manner that allows for production targets to be met. The successful candidate will be responsible for installations, repair and PM as well as provide troubleshooting and technical expertise on control systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work safely and comply with all safety processes
- Comply with quality system work instruction
- Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems as directed
- Completing PM’s
- Completing PdM routes
- Responding to breakdowns
- Fabricating
- Installing
- Operate mobile equipment
- Operate basic Machine Shop Equipment (Drill Press, bandsaw, lathe, grinders)
- Documenting corrective actions within the ONE Maintenance system as required
Qualifications and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete Our Next Energy’s hiring process requirements which include comprehensive assessments and background checks
- Must be comfortable working in a semi-clean room atmosphere, including gowning or lab coats, hair nets, gloves and safety glasses as required
- Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions, blueprints and documentation
- Must be able to use computer based work tools
- Previous experience with PLC’s & Servo drives including troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects
Preferred Experience:
- Associates degree in related field
- Completion of at least 8 year’s experience in a Electrical or Mechatronics trade or a certified apprenticeship as a Electrical or Mechatronic trade.
- Knowledge of PLC’s (prefer Mitsubishi), VFD’s, servo controllers, temperature control, and HMI systems is a plus
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office as well as ability to operate a laptop and connect to PLC
Work Schedule:
- Work schedule to be established with supervisor to ensure Company’s client and business needs are met. This position will include overtime as required.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment, and speak and listen, both over the phone and in person to customers and fellow employees, in order to perform the above listed duties. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to work in a seated position, climb or balance and taste or smell.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
