Principal Investigator (Part-time)

Our client seeking a Principal Investigator Part-time (8 hours per week) to serve as the project's lead researcher and manager, such as a clinical trial or laboratory study. This position will be based in-person at a study site/clinic in Greenville, SC and will support all trial activities at the site level.

They are responsible for many aspects of the research, including:


  • Ethical conduct: Ensuring the research is conducted ethically and that participants' rights and welfare are protected
  • Training: Ensuring that all study personnel have the appropriate training
  • Research activities: Overseeing all research activities and ensuring they are conducted objectively and unbiasedly in compliance with regulations and policies
  • Data analysis: Analyzing the data and reporting the results of the research
  • Equipment management: Obtaining, maintaining, and safeguarding research equipment in accordance with regulations and policies
  • The investigator is required to provide acknowledgement of the Delineation of Responsibilities Tool by filing it in the Investigator Site File.
  • The investigator is required to provide an agreement to oversee the DCT capability that will be used through the addition of sponsors and/or contracted CROs as site personnel to the delegation log, prior to the initiation of their activities for the trial.
  • Ensure the informed consent is obtained from all subjects prior to any study procedures being performed

Qualifications:


  • Licensed physician with internal medicine or similar specialty.
  • 2+ years of research experience.
