Summary:
Core One is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting national security projects/programs. This candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, learn more about government contracting, and utilize their growing skillset to contribute to a mission-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented.
- Prepare project reports, timelines, and status updates.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and presentations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure project alignment and understanding.
- Track project progress and report any potential issues or risks to the project manager.
- Support the project team with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience supporting government programs/projects
- Proven experience in supporting project initiatives and objectives for Program/Project Managers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of project coordination and management principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a project management role.
Preferred Qualities:
- 2+ years of experience supporting government projects.
- Strong problem-solving/solution-oriented skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
