The Role
In this role, you will work with financial institutions that are interested in improving their digital banking experience for their retail and commercial clients. You’ll understand their business drivers and help them grasp how Bankjoy can help them meet their needs. We are looking for motivated candidates with a history of success managing enterprise sales cycles, preferably in the financial services market. The ideal candidate brings 8 years of direct sales and related experience and understands how to inspire action and solve problems with their clients.
This position pays between 120k - 140k USD per year plus commission.
You will bring:
8 years of sales experience with 5+ years of experience closing 6-figure, enterprise SaaS deals to C-level decision makers
2-3 years SaaS solutions to banks, credit unions or fintechs preferred
History selling mission critical applications across functional areas
The ability to manage challenging sales cycles
A consultative, thoughtful approach to selling
Consistent track record exceeding sales quota
Understand how to build a trusted advisor role with your prospects
Eagerness and ability to help solve difficult problems with your clients
Willingness to cold call and prospect to build pipeline
Strong organizational skills resulting in fast action with a focus on moving accounts thru the cycle
A strong sense of urgency to act quickly and decisively to move deals to close
Ability to travel 25-40%
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
In this role you will:
Own the full sales cycle from lead to close across a wide range of sources
Serve as a hunter, actively prospecting and networking within your territory to generate sales opportunities with FIs
Own and manage your territory as if it is your own business
Work with external consultants who own RFP processes on behalf of their FI clients
Understand the business needs of the FI and create a compelling narrative
Consciously move your opportunities through the sales cycle
Negotiate deals and manage objections
Navigate key decision makers to build awareness across a variety of organizations
Achieve and exceed sales quota largely through outbound sales efforts
Create sales forecasts that accurately reflect the health of your territory
Travel 25-40% to meet with prospects with an eye towards building lasting relationships
Collaborate and work with different organizations at Bankjoy (Support Manager, Customer Success Manager, Leadership, Product Management) to help close business
Provide recommendations based on customer's business needs and usage patterns
Conduct periodic win/loss assessments with colleagues across Bankjoy
Work trade show events to increase lead generation
