The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the unique needs of our brands. This role will involve crafting competitive compensation packages, managing relationships with benefits brokers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute compensation strategies and programs that align with Bedrock's overarching business objectives and reflect the values and cultures of Filson and Shinola.
- Analyze compensation data and market benchmarks to ensure our pay practices remain competitive and attractive to top talent.
- Oversee the annual merit process for both Filson and Shinola, including merit increases and performance-based incentives.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to establish and manage the compensation budget for both brands.
- Provide expert guidance and support to HR colleagues and brand leaders on compensation and benefits matters, including policy interpretation and issue resolution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging best practices in compensation and benefits to inform continuous improvement initiatives across Filson and Shinola.
- Work as a liaison between ADP and HR resources to ensure benefit deductions and 401k deductions are administered appropriately.
- Serve as ADP’s point of contact for any benefit related issues or questions.
- Ensure leave of absence policies are being administered appropriately.
- Serve as the primary liaison with benefits brokers, benefit carriers and ADP fostering strong partnerships and effective communication to optimize benefits offerings.
- Ensure all benefit legal compliance reports are filed appropriately by ADP.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management.
- MEWA experience a plus.
- Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices, including job evaluation methodologies and pay structure design.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing employee benefits programs, with experience managing relationships with benefits brokers and other external partners.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making and program optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Prior experience with ADP Comprehensive Benefits a plus.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation preferred.
