Description
FMX is seeking a talented UX or Product Designer to join our growing Product Delivery team. As a key member of our product development process, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our software, creating intuitive and impactful user experiences that align with our mission to simplify facility management.As a Product Designer at FMX, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that address our customers' needs. You'll have the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior designers, and contribute to the overall product strategy.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Product Designer, you will:
- Lead the design process for medium to large-scale projects, such as new features and interaction patterns
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product specifications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools
- Contribute to and help shape our existing design patterns and systems
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their work
- Participate in design critiques and present your work to various audiences
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX and Product design
- Contribute to the development of product strategy and help drive the direction of specific product areas
- Actively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
Requirements
Preferred Experience & Qualities:
- 3-7 years of experience in product or UX design, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience with user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in teams and independently
- Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work
- Expertise in Figma is preferred

The hiring process for this role:

Compensation:
- The base salary range for this position is expected to be $90,000-100,000. This position is also eligible for a Company Performance Bonus.
