Lead Science, a DealerOn company, is seeking an expert, solutions-based Territory Sales Director (TSD) to sell digital marketing solutions, specifically our website platform, managed SEO services, and digital advertising. The ideal candidate for this role will proactively become the subject matter expert on our website platform and product offerings.The ideal candidate for this position may currently be in a Sales, Sales Engineer, Solutions Specialist, Inside Sales, or Product Demonstrator role. We are looking for skillsets and someone who is:

  • A Rockstar Sales Closer
  • A master of getting sales conversations going with cold / warm prospects (which means also finding, researching, and cold calling outreach to our ideal prospects)
  • An amazing presenter, specifically virtual sales presentations - presenting SaaS products and features via Zoom with the ability to move through multiple URLs and bounce from live to PowerPoint presentations smoothly and professionally
  • Solutions minded - listens to the prospect, finds the pain-point, verifies the need, trial closes, confirms the solution, and pivots as needed to close the deal
  • Experienced and has been successfully closing business in the software solutions marketplace via live, virtual presentations for a product such as CRM, marketing software, websites, or similar AND has an understanding of managed SEO services, digital advertising, and website design that will allow them to speak to the details and needs necessary to successfully close and retain business.

This is an individual contributor role. The TSD will manage sales and business development activities within an assigned US territory and is responsible for growing product penetration and revenue within the Home Service, Health & Wellness, and other business verticals as applicable. In this role, you will develop your assigned territory through:

  • 6+ hours per day of prospecting via cold calling and lead follow-up
  • Self-driven market research
  • Conducting client needs analysis
  • Providing the best product demonstration via solutions-based selling skills
  • Negotiation of agreements

This position requires high energy and a highly motivated individual who has demonstrated success selling SaaS (websites) and digital marketing solutions. This position is for those self-motivated, tech savvy, already fluent in utilizing Salesforce CRM and Zoom, and interested in a sales role that requires the daily grind of cultivating new business and includes a very generous and competitive compensation package.

Essential Functions:


  • Proactively prospect, develop and grow assigned markets and territory
  • Lead business development and execute go-to-market strategy with prospective clients to increase Lead Science sales revenue and market penetration
  • Facilitate the client purchase decision to achieve sales objectives and create new customer relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding quickly and accurately to client concerns and needs and supporting prompt resolution
  • Collaborate internally with various operational teammates to maximize ensured successful new client launches, client retention, and growth
  • Provide market perspective and feedback to the product and operational teams on new product ideas and/or suggested modifications to existing products
  • Create daily prospecting and development activity, and maintain a deal pipeline of active, late-stage deals in the Lead Science CRM (Salesforce)

Required Skills and Experience:


  • 3+ years of experience selling digital marketing or SaaS (website) solutions
  • Experience selling marketing and advertising services
  • Business consulting, analysis, and reporting experience
  • Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, digital media principles, tactics, and practices
  • Ability to work independently from a remote/home office
  • Ability to deliver powerful presentations tailored to a prospective client’s needs
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal), follow-through, and meeting deadlines

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000.  On target earnings of ~$180,000.


The maximum range shown represents your earning potential with DealerOn for the life time of the role. The posted salary range for this position may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
