About the Role:As a Budget & Grants Reviewer supporting our Federal government client,you will be trusted to provide programmatic (budget, grants) reviews for a program that aims to foster competition and innovation across the global telecommunications ecosystem, lower costs for consumers and network operators, and strengthen the 5G supply chain. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Review grants applications for budgetary compliance with Innovation Fund’s second NOFO and determine if applications meet all requirements
- Assess risks associated with budgetary components of an application with regards to the larger project
- Use an online tool/checklist and user guide and follow prescribed steps to review applications and move them forward in the application review process
- Responsible for quality assurance practices and fostering completion and accuracy of tasks
- Attend all required trainings; all trainings and technology enablement will be provided by the project team

Location:You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely.Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Expertise, knowledge, and experience in Federal grants and budgets
- Experience evaluating the budgetary viability of a proposed project
- Understanding of project budgets and their viability in the context of a broader project; standard federal forms (e.g. SF-424, SF-424A, CD-540, etc.); general familiarity with 2 CFR 200 and whether costs may be considered reasonable, allocable, and allowable
- Experience conducting grants application reviews and/or providing post-award grants management support
- Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate information and apply new approaches to address issues related to the grants management process
- Functional experience using tools and systems to manage grants data and documentation
- US Citizenship required

- Public Trust Clearance required
