Job Overview:
The shipping and receiving/material handler is responsible for overseeing and processing all inbound and outbound shipments within the Factory.
Responsibilities:
- Unload truck, count, verify and receive product.
- Shelve materials.
- Report any damages or shipment discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Perform cycle counts for raw material.
- Picking and staging material for production lines.
- Fulfill surplus parts requests
- Conduct annual physical inventory.
- Pack and ship all outbound material
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
- Ability to work cross functionally within a team
- Willingness to learn new computer programs and to become proficient in using RF devices
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math and organization skills
- Previous receiving and shipping experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up 30-50 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to see/read labels
