As a Solutions Architect at StrongDM, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers after the sale is complete, ensuring that our solutions are deployed efficiently and effectively. Your work will involve detailed planning, consultation, and hands-on implementation to help our clients build secure, scalable, and resilient data access architectures using StrongDM's products.
What You’ll Do:
- Architecture Design: Develop and refine architecture plans that align with client needs for security, scalability, and fault tolerance. Ensure solutions are designed to meet future growth and flexible enough to adapt to evolving technology landscapes.
- Best Practices Development: Advocate for and implement best practices in security and architecture design. Customize solutions to fit industry-specific requirements and standards.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead technical contact during the post-sales phase, providing expertise in StrongDM’s technologies and the broader access management landscape.
- Customer Implementation: Work directly with customers to integrate StrongDM solutions into their existing environments. Guide the installation, configuration, and tuning of StrongDM deployments.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the deployment process. Provide detailed technical analysis and recommendations to resolve integration challenges.
- Collaboration and Training: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to provide feedback on customer experiences and help drive product improvements. Train customers on new tools and technologies, ensuring they are empowered to use StrongDM effectively.
- Documentation: Work with our Education team to create and augment detailed documentation and deployment guides to assist clients with future maintenance and scalability.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, systems engineering, particularly in post-sales or implementation roles
- Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
- Ability to understand how technical concepts help achieve business goals
- Demonstrated track record of persuading technical audiences to take action based on requirements and value provided by solutions
- Experience with major cloud provider technologies and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)Strong understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and system integration
- Experience with systems automation, e.g. IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Scripting (python, powershell, bash, particular language not important)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Compensation:
- $150,000-$180,000 salary, bonus + equity salary packages
