What we are looking for:
We seek an experienced Frontend Engineer with a strong background in building comprehensive user solutions and frontend infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, particularly in Typescript, and will have demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring and driving multi-team projects to completion.You will lead large-scale projects in dashboard or SDK (iOS, Android) development, enhancing our cross-browser testing, funnel optimization, and SDK distribution processes.
Your role will involve making frontend developers at Forage more effective by improving infrastructure and tooling, balancing business priorities with user experience and technical sustainability, and influencing our technical vision.Collaboration is key; you will work closely with product managers to optimize our Shopify app for better funnel conversion and with the Sales team to launch features based on new contracts or user requirements. Additionally, you will mentor your teammates, fostering best practices in frontend development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building end-to-end user solutions
- Experience working in frontend infrastructure, such as package management, bundle size optimization and other scalable work that empowers other frontend engineers
- Experience as a technical leader for your team, mentoring others, influencing the roadmap and driving large multi-team projects to completion
- Experience in Typescript
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large multi-engineer projects in either dashboard or SDK (iOS, Android) development. Some project examples include building a single source of truth for funnel, improvement our cross browser testing and working on a better SDK distribution process
- Make frontend developers at Forage more effective through better infrastructure and tooling
- Balance business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability in trade offs when building Forage’s dashboard and SDK experiences
- Influence frontend development at Forage by sharing technical vision and providing guidance
- Work closely with product manager to optimize Shopify app to better increase funnel conversion
- Work closely with Sales team to launch new features based off of newly signed contracts or user requirements
- Mentor teammates and others around frontend best practices
Our Offer:
As of 07/24/2024, if we hire you in San Francisco, your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity and variable portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
