AMP is hiring a Senior Manager, Corporate Finance reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This position can be

remote within the United States.


Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager, Corporate Finance to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, corporate finance, and investor relations. This role is critical to ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of our organization.As our Senior Manager, Corporate Finance, you will work to:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models for various projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness to support decision-making processes.
  • Own the Corporate Model: Take full ownership of the corporate financial model, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and reflective of the company’s financial position and future projections.
  • Internal and Investor Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports for investors, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all communications.

The successful candidate will have:


Required:


  • Update and maintain the current year forecast and 5 year corporate model
  • Lead financial consolidation and analysis for monthly financial reviews, periodic forecasts and annual budget, for full financial statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow)
  • Prepare recurring financial reporting packages, especially focusing on financial variance explanations and KPIs over applicable time periods
  • Provide financial analysis, modeling and decision-making support to our business unit leaders and executive leadership
  • Develop cross-functional relationships with department budget owners to drive monthly budget vs. actuals analysis and explanations, cost trend analysis, and continuous cost forecast updates with a focus on transparency and accountability
  • Provide FP&A support to our Accounting team to enable prompt close of monthly books and thorough variance explanations - understanding of accounting principles required
  • Strengthen internal financial forecasting and analysis processes, controls, and efficiencies across the organization
  • Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors presentations

Preferred:


  • 8 - 12+ years of related experience in corporate finance, FP&A, corporate development (or similar analytical role)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including ability to own and execute complex analyses (e.g. scenario modeling) and explain them to senior leadership
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Innate intellectual curiosity (you are comfortable asking questions and taking the initiative to dig into variances)
  • Ability to work productively in a fast paced environment
  • Critical thinking prowess, with a keen ability to draw insights from raw data and deliver concise, actionable findings tailored to different management levels
  • Business analytics and/or data visualization tool experience a plus (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • NetSuite or similar ERP experience (including with related FP&A software planning / forecasting tools) required

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; Advanced degree like an MBA a plus; CFA a plus

Equity Grant:

 The candidate selected for this role will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and the candidate’s qualifications.
