What You’ll Do
As Legal Counsel, you will report directly to the Associate General Counsel - Commercial and Compliance. In this dynamic role, you will provide legal advice on a diverse array of topics, manage day-to-day legal matters, and spearhead essential business initiatives, including:
- Commercial Transactions: Draft and review, and negotiate agreements with internal and external stakeholders including customers, data center service providers, partners for resale, distributors, marketing partnerships, etc. Coordinate deal negotiation with internal stakeholders and provide counsel regarding contract terms.
- Research: Stay up to day on legal and regulatory requirements relating to the industry to identify potential impact to Lambda.
- Process Improvement: Leverage technology wherever possible to automate, streamline and otherwise drive process improvements. Contribute to legal operations, maintaining systems and processes that enhance departmental efficiency.
- Corporate Governance: Support the preparation of board meeting resolutions, minutes, and written consents, maintaining applicable entity registrations and filings through our secretarial services provider.

You:
- Are a junior attorney with either law firm or in-house experience
- Are a creative problem solver who understands that their role is not only to identify legal issues, but to resolve them and achieve business objectives
- Can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business to build partnerships and work collaboratively
- Possess a strong attention to detail across many workstreams and responsibilities
- Are comfortable making sense of high-volume and sometimes contradictory information in order to solve problems
- Are licensed to practice law and are in good standing in at least one U.S. state
Nice to Have
- Experience working with IAAS or cloud computing
- Experience with export regulations
Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $135,000-$205,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
