About the opportunity:
KarmaCheck is seeking highly motivated and strategic Procurement Specialists to join our newly created, dynamic, and growing Procurement Team. KarmaCheck is expanding their occupational health and drug screening services to better serve our healthcare customers. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for researching, contracting, negotiating, monitoring, and maintaining the relationships with our partners. In this role you will help drive the network expansion by adding additional network coverage, expanding electronic operational efficiency, focusing on strategic cost reduction, and fostering partner relationships.
What You'll Do:
- Learn and understand KarmaCheck products, operations, and procedures
- Research and identify prospective service suppliers
- Generate and send contracts to prospective service supplier
- Review and negotiate any change in contract terms and costs
- Own addendum and contract renewal process and negotiations
- Conduct reviews with top service suppliers
- Maintain and monitor service supplier performance metrics
- Liaison with and between internal teams and service suppliers to maintain strong service supplier relationships and make notable improvement on any service issues.
- Lead integrations projects with and between the service supplier and KarmaCheck’s Product team
- Maintain integrations with service suppliers and KarmaCheck’s Product team
- Assist Revenue Operations with new service, panels, and panel match costs
- Maintain lab accounts with Delivery team
- Communicate any service supplier changes that will affect the teams internally
- Work with service suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless rollout of all changes
What You Need:
- 2 + years of work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
- 2 + years of experience working for a TPA in the Drug/Alcohol/Occupational Health/ Background Industry (or equivalent experience)
- 2 + years of experience negotiating supplier contracts
- 2 + years of supplier relationship management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player

- The expected OTE compensation for this role is between $55,000 - $63,000 for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience level, transferable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
