Compliance Program Manager


We're seeking a talented Compliance Program Manager to join our dynamic fintech team. This role is ideal for someone who's passionate about building a robust compliance program that supports our innovative spirit while ensuring regulatory adherence.In this key position, you'll develop and implement our comprehensive compliance strategy, balancing regulatory requirements with our growth objectives. You'll play a crucial role in fostering a culture of integrity across our organization.

What You'll Do:



  • Expand and implement a comprehensive Compliance Management System (CMS) covering BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC testing, and dispute/complaint resolution.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure customer-facing content meets regulatory standards.

  • Develop a thorough testing inventory to maintain accountability and ensure compliance adherence.

  • Create and deliver engaging compliance training programs to elevate our team's regulatory awareness.

  • Anticipate regulatory changes and identify areas for potential innovation within compliance boundaries.

  • Assess risk profiles of new products and marketing initiatives, providing balanced guidance on compliance and business objectives.

  • Manage external audits and regulatory exams effectively, fostering positive relationships with auditors, regulators, and bank partners.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide leadership with actionable insights on compliance status and opportunities.

What You'll Bring:



  • Substantial experience in compliance, with at least 7 years in fintech, banking, or financial services.

  • Deep subject matter expertise of financial regulations, particularly BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC, TILA, Reg Z/E, ECOA, NACHA rules, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FDCPA, FACTA, FCRA. This includes not only understanding the regulations but keen insight into the history and trends of how regulators have approached and enforced these regulations.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage comprehensive compliance programs that support business growth.

  • Experience working with marketing and product teams to ensure compliant customer experiences.

  • A data-driven approach to risk assessment and reporting.

  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively convey compliance concepts across all organizational levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (CAMS, CRCM) are a plus.

  • Commitment to ongoing learning about fintech developments, regulatory trends, and compliance best practices.

  • Ability to balance effective compliance with business innovation.
