The Sr. Global Payroll Specialist will work to ensure Movable’s employees are paid accurately and timely as Movable Ink continues to grow and expand in an ever-changing world. The role will report to the Associate Director of Payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the payroll processing of all Movable Ink locations (US, Canada, UK, Australia, Costa Rica, Germany)
- Prepare payroll funding requests
- Responsible for reconciliation and funding of benefit deductions (401k, FSA, HSA, etc.)
- Responsible for reconciling payroll funding to Bank activity for the purpose of Payroll Journal Entries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Continuously evaluate payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain payroll documents for processing and auditing needs
- Manage the Time and Attendance system for Non-Exempt Employees
- Use the payroll reporting system to create and run ad-hoc reports for internal use, as well as, to assist with or respond to the needs of the organization
- Distribute payroll reports and summaries as required
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience with a fast-paced, growing start-up is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years using ADP Workforce Now
- Proven track record of processing payroll for a mid-sized to large organization with a high level of proficiency
- Prior vendor management experience with outsourced payroll partners
- Experience processing multi-state payroll.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word) is required
The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
