As a Product Owner Contractor, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring the success of our client’s campaigns and the satisfaction of the clients on projects as assigned. You will work closely with delivery team members as well as an Account Manager in servicing clients.

Responsibilities
- Operations/PM
- Coordinate client kick-off calls, check-ins, reviews, and other meetings
- Oversee and manage project timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather project requirements and resources
- Ensure quality control and testing of projects before client reviews
- Maintain high standards of work quality among all team members and promptly escalate any issues to management to address areas where the quality of work may impact client relationships
- Lead team meetings and client calls to ensure alignment and progress
- Update project management tools and tracking systems with current project information
- Client Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams
- Understand and address client needs and ensure high standards of service
- Manage client communications and resolve any issues that arise
- Focus on client retention through effective relationship management
- Process Improvement
- Develop and enhance processes for client onboarding and project execution
- Communicate project updates and financial details to the operations team
- Ensure accurate and efficient management of client accounts and billing information
- Digital Marketing Strategy
- Work with stakeholders and development teams to define, prioritize, and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and strategy requirements
- Serve as business analyst, project manager, and owner who leads projects of varying sizes and complexity, with responsibility for project budget, quality, and timeliness of deliverables
- Direct project resources and/or recommend and create internal development procedures and methodologies
- Create and communicate weekly project recaps and stakeholder communications
- Document, communicate, and collaborate with executives and internal stakeholders to define digital marketing strategy and roadmaps
- Manage the strategy through the entire lifecycle, from ideation and planning to launch and iteration
- Foster strong relationships with designers, developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless strategy development and delivery
- Actively gather user feedback through various methods (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing) and analyze data to inform strategic decisions
- Meticulously document client requirements, feedback, goal progression, task completion, and project updates to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager in a digital marketing agency
- Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not mandatory
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficiency in Google Suite is required, and proficiency in ClickUp is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, branding, websites, list building, PR, and graphic design
- Ability to manage a website design and build, provide art direction to developers, and offer guidance to graphic design and content teams
- Understanding of what can and can't be done in digital marketing, making you valuable in answering client questions
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite will be highly beneficial to this role
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and provide art direction for design projects, including websites and brochures
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel, Wordpress, Dropbox, Slack, Microsoft Word/Excel, etc.
