Job Description
Crown is currently searching for skilled Telecommunications Technicians to join our team in the telecommunications industry. As a Telecommunications Technician for Crown, you will play a vital role within major telecom projects throughout the country. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various telecommunications systems, including telephone networks, data systems, and radio equipment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of telecommunications principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other personnel, departments, or companies
- Able to climb ladder and work in tight spaces
- Capable of lifting materials up to 50lbs
- Telecommunications equipment wiring, installation, and testing
- Excavation equipment operation
- In-building structured cabling installation
- Underground and structure-mounted conduit and cabling installation
- Fiber optic cabling installation and testing
- Ability to pass public trust and driving background checks, along with a valid driver's license
- The job will be 100% field and remote nationwide, with per diem and travel covered. Must have good credit to be reimbursed for travel costs weekly.
*FAA experience preferred, but not required.
